Flat Calm - Original Painting 42 x 59.4 cm

Flat calm is my A2 (42x59.4cm) stretched canvas original acrylic painting. This is a view off the end of Ebbs Nook in Beadnell Bay, Northumberland. The day was so calm and silent, which is so unlike the usual crashing waves which batter this outcrop of rocks. The sun had just set and the whole sky and ocean turned an amazing deep aqua marine colour. I have captured this with a stunning vibrant blue hues and slight pink tinge in the clouds that are looming. I have kept this painting bare and smooth to capture calmness and serenity.
