Fishing 18x23" Oil on Linen Canvas

'Fishing' is a bright vibrant oil painting on 18x23" Linen Canvas. The kingfisher is the most bright and bold bird in the UK. I have captured him perched on a branch searching for the fish below. The oil paints shine off the canvas with the king fisher popping out from the pastel lilac and blue background. I have used a variety of palette knives to create the effect of the painting appearing from the canvas leaving the very edge as raw canvas.
