Lindisfarne Skies Print

Lindisfarne Skies print is a giclee print of beautiful quality art paper, available in three different sizes. This painting is inspired by our latest stunning visit to Holy Island, we walked for miles around Lindisfarne on a bright yet cloudy day. I loved this view looking back on the castle, the tide was out and just one solitary boat was standing proud on the sand with beautiful reflection. I have captured this with both small and large paintbrush strokes, I then finished the painting by adding lots of large movements with my palette knife. I love the effect of a palette knife especially for seascapes as it captures colour and ever changing moments of sea and sky.
